Davis was communicative, has employed diligent, friendly and committed employees, and did an overall thorough and professional job. His pricing was fair and I was happy to support a local small business that handles business with a personal touch! It's easy to go with the advertised roofers but supporting independent small businesses directly impacts the owner and the workers. Davis was in site multiple times a day! Used Lilac Roofing for a repair a while back and had a great experience from the start. Got a fair quote, solid repair work, and reasonable pricing. Most recently, he put together a thorough inspection report to help me get my home insured under a new policy and didn't charge a thing for it. That kind of integrity goes a long way. Davis from Lilac Roofing was incredible to work with, he came out right away to check both our attic and roof, which we really appreciated, and quickly assessed the issue. He was extremely informative and helpful, taking the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, and he provided an immediate solution so we knew exactly what to do next. We had issues with a roof leaking and he came out to look very quickly, was extremely knowledgeable in diagnosing the issue and proposing solutions, and has been incredibly responsive with any questions we’ve had since. I received a panicked phone call from my husband in the middle of the day saying water was leaking through one of the lights in our kitchen. We just bought our home in November, so I was completely overwhelmed and worried about potential water damage. I called Davis in a total panic — and he truly came to the rescue. Despite having a very busy schedule, he squeezed us in and was at our house and up on the roof within an hour. He quickly identified and fixed the ice dam that had formed, preventing what could have been a much bigger issue. He was efficient, professional, and incredibly reliable during a stressful situation. As a new homeowner who has never dealt with something like this before, I can’t express how grateful I am to have someone like Davis in my corner —- he was an absolute lifesaver. Currently living in Victor, NY, my wife and I have made the greater Rochester, NY area our home. I am a 3rd generation contractor who has made my career specifically in the roofing industry.

With over a decade of experience, I have learned much of what I know as a specialist inspecting roof damage for an insurance company, and as a Senior Project Manager for a large construction company.
